  • 3 lb. side of salmon (skin on)
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic (1 large clove)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil (plus more for brushing grill)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the salmon by cutting it into six equal portions and placing skin-side down in a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, dijon mustard, minced garlic, and olive oil until emulsified.
  3. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the marinade and coat the salmon with the remaining mixture. Let it marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F). Clean and oil the grates.
  5. Grill salmon skin-side down for about 4 minutes; carefully flip and cook another 4 minutes or until desired doneness.
