Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together granulated sugar, sour cream, softened butter, and eggs until creamy. Stir in mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
  3. Sift in all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gently combine with a rubber spatula and fold in chopped walnuts.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for about 10 minutes before frosting.
  5. For the frosting, heat butter in a pan until browned; then mix with powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and enough milk to reach desired consistency. Frost the cooled brownies.
