Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons red apple vinegar
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 3 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 pounds skirt steak
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large ziplock bag, combine soy sauce, Dijon mustard, red apple vinegar, olive oil, molasses, smashed garlic cloves, and chopped onion. Seal the bag tightly and mix well.
  2. Add the skirt steak to the bag and ensure it’s fully coated in the marinade. Refrigerate for 3 to 12 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium heat about 15 minutes before cooking. Remove the steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature.
  4. Grill the steak for 5 to 8 minutes on each side until cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. Allow the steak to rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing against the grain and serving.
