  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (do not thaw)
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Gently fold in blueberries and optional ingredients.
