Ingredients
- 1 ¾ cups whole milk
- 6 chai tea bags
- 2 cloves
- 1 stick cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon allspice
- 3 teaspoons powdered vegan gelatine (unflavored)
- ⅓ cup white granulated sugar
- 1 ½ cups thickened cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Infuse the milk: Heat 1 cup of whole milk in a saucepan with chai tea bags, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, and allspice for about 10 minutes. Strain to remove spices.
- Prepare gelatin: In a small bowl, bloom the vegan gelatin in ¾ cup cold milk for 5 minutes.
- Combine ingredients: Add bloomed gelatin to warm infused milk with sugar. Whisk until dissolved, then stir in cream and vanilla extract.
- Pour into molds: Transfer mixture into serving cups and refrigerate for at least four hours until set.
