  • 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
  • 12 oz gluten-free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 1/4 cup pasta water

Instructions

  1. Boil the gluten-free farfalle pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Mix paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  3. Pound chicken breasts slightly for even cooking and season both sides with the spice mix.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (approximately 10-12 minutes). Remove from pan and slice.
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté dry shallots with Italian seasoning for one minute.
  7. Stir in gluten-free flour before adding chicken broth and heavy cream; whisk until smooth.
  8. Incorporate shredded Parmesan cheese until melted and desired thickness is reached.
  9. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if necessary.
  10. Serve sliced chicken atop the pasta mixture.
