  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth. Add one egg and vanilla; mix well. Stir in flour and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mash bananas, then add melted butter, both sugars, remaining eggs, sour cream, and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, and baking powder in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the banana mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour half the batter into each loaf pan. Add the cream cheese mixture on top and cover with remaining batter.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
