  • 1 1/2 tsp arrowroot
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, arrowroot, and sea salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together vegan butter, brown sugar, and raw cane sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture; mix thoroughly.
  5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just mixed.
  6. Fold in dairy-free chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet about two inches apart and bake for approximately 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
