  • 15g thyme
  • 400g baguette
  • 150g Comté cheese

  2. Cook until onions soften and turn pale golden (about 30 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  3. Add sliced garlic and butter; cook for another 5 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the beef stock, scraping the pan to deglaze, then add thyme leaves. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Adjust seasoning if needed. Slice baguette rounds and place them on top of oven-proof bowls filled with soup.
