  • 8 oz dry Fusilli Corti Bucati Pasta (or any pasta shape)
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean Red Chili Pepper Paste)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan or cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in gochujang until well combined.
  4. Lower the heat, add heavy cream, and stir until smooth. Gradually mix in shredded cheese until melted. Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Toss the drained pasta in the skillet until coated with sauce. Season with black pepper and serve garnished with parsley.
