  • 1 lb yakisoba or linguine noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar. Pour this mixture into the wok and bring it to a simmer.
  4. Add cooked noodles to the wok and toss to coat evenly in the sauce; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Drizzle sesame oil over the noodles and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Toss again.
  6. Serve hot in a dish garnished with green onions if desired.
