- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and slice into strips.
- In the same skillet, sauté sliced mushrooms and minced garlic until browned (about 5 minutes).
- Pour in heavy cream and scrape up browned bits from the skillet. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy; adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
