  • 500 ml (2 cups) milk (for filling)
  • 150 grams (¾ cup) sugar (for filling)
  • 100 grams (1 cup) all-purpose flour (for filling)
  • 180 grams (¾ cup) butter (for filling)
  • Icing sugar for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt together. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, water, and milk until smooth. Combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture until well blended.
  3. Pour batter into a greased baking dish and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool on a rack.
  4. For the filling, heat milk and sugar in a saucepan until dissolved. Whisk together flour and eggs until smooth, then gradually add to the warm milk while stirring until thickened.
