  • 1 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 16.9 oz bag mini M&Ms (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually mix in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and kosher salt until just combined. Fold in mini chocolate chips and 1 cup of mini M&Ms.
  4. Scoop out small balls of dough (about a teaspoon each) and press into remaining mini M&Ms before placing them on the prepared baking sheets.
  5. Bake for 6–8 minutes until bottoms are slightly golden. Allow cooling on sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
