Ingredients
- 450 g all-purpose flour
- 175 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 125 g butter (softened)
- 400 g ground hazelnuts (or walnuts/almonds)
- 400 g chopped nuts (or almonds)
- 350 g brown sugar
- 400 g dark chocolate (for coating)
- 6 tbsp apricot jam (or any fruit preserve)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 175°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, eggs, softened butter, and salt to form a smooth dough. Roll it out evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Spread the apricot jam over the dough to add flavor and help hold the nuts in place.
- In a saucepan, melt butter with milk and brown sugar until dissolved. Stir in ground hazelnuts and vanilla seeds until well combined.
