  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for streusel)
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • Pinch ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Prepare the streusel by mixing flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  3. In a separate large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Add baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices to the wet mixture; mix well.
  5. Fold in the flour until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle streusel topping evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 65–80 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
