  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • ¼ cup toasted walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and halve the pears lengthwise, removing the cores.
  3. Arrange pear halves cut-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over each pear half and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 25 minutes until tender but not mushy.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle with blue cheese and chopped walnuts.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt cheese slightly.
  8. Drizzle with honey before serving warm.
