  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season beef chops with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Brown the seasoned beef in olive oil over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side; set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté onions in butter until soft. Add flour and cook briefly before whisking in milk and chicken broth until thickened. Stir in thyme, paprika, and cheese until melted.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, half of the cheese sauce, and browned beef chops. Top with remaining potatoes and sauce.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
