  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 1 serrano chile, minced
  • 2 tablespoons minced white onion
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • pinch coarse black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the spice rub by mixing chili powder, cinnamon, brown sugar, cocoa powder, salt, black pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar in a bowl. Coat the chicken thoroughly with this mixture.
