Instructions

- In a stand mixer, cream cold butter and granulated sugar on low speed for about one minute, then increase to high speed for another minute.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing in the vanilla extract until combined.
- Mix in red food coloring and cocoa powder until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together cake flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
- Chill the dough uncovered for 20 minutes.
- Roll dough into balls (approx. 3.5 oz each) and coat with crushed Oreos.
- Place on parchment-lined baking sheets about three inches apart.
- Bake for 10–11 minutes or until edges are slightly firm.
