Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Combine buttermilk and pureed strawberries in another bowl.
  6. Gradually mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 70-80 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar with strawberry puree and lemon juice until smooth; drizzle over cooled cake.
