  • 4 oz reduced fat Swiss cheese (sliced)
  • 4 thick slices red onion
  • 4 thin slices tomato
  • 1/2 avocado (sliced)
  • baby spinach
  • 4 whole wheat low-calorie buns

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, rosemary, and steak seasoning.
  2. Toss the portobello caps in the marinade and let them sit for 20–30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill over medium heat and brush the grate with oil.
  4. Grill the mushrooms for 5–7 minutes per side, basting with reserved marinade.
  5. In the last minute of grilling, add Swiss cheese on top of each mushroom.
  6. Grill red onion slices until charred; toast buns until golden brown.
