  • 12 ounces uncooked fettuccine noodles
  • 1 lb jumbo gulf shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 23 tablespoons creole seasoning blend
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 shallots (thinly sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1¼ cups heavy cream
  • ⅔ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine noodles in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente; drain well.
  2. Pat the shrimp dry and season with 1½ tablespoons of creole seasoning.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat, sauté shallots for about 5 minutes until translucent, then add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes, flipping halfway through. Add garlic last for the final 30 seconds.
  4. Remove shrimp mixture from skillet; pour chicken broth into the skillet and reduce by half while scraping the bottom.
  5. Lower heat, add heavy cream and simmer until thickened; whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Return shrimp mixture to skillet along with cooked fettuccine; toss to coat in sauce and garnish with parsley before serving.
