  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Easter M&Ms or candy-coated chocolate eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; then gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and half of the Easter candies gently.
  6. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets. Press remaining candies on top for decoration.
  7. Bake for about 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden while centers remain soft.
  8. Cool on the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
