  • 4 tbsp butter (salted or unsalted, softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract; blend well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients until combined.
  4. Spread the dough into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan and bake for about 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow to cool completely on a cooling rack.
  5. For the frosting, beat softened cream cheese and butter until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
