- 2–3 pounds sirloin (cut into 1 1/2 – 2" chunks)
- 1 head garlic (about 4–6 tablespoons minced)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon dry parsley
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (or vinegar as an alternative)
- Kosher salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- For Garlic Butter: 6 tablespoons unsalted butter and reserved minced garlic
Instructions
- Prepare the steak by placing the cubed sirloin in a large bowl or zip-top bag.
- Peel and finely mince the garlic. Reserve one clove for later use.
- Mix the remaining minced garlic with vegetable oil, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and parsley; pour over the steak and marinate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and skew the marinated beef onto metal skewers.
- Grill the skewers until they reach an internal temperature of 135-140°F for medium-rare, turning occasionally.
- Tent cooked skewers with foil to keep warm while preparing garlic butter by melting reserved garlic in butter, then brushing over the skewers before serving.
