  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups finely chopped strawberries
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture while alternating with the milk. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
  5. For the crumble topping, mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, and nutmeg until crumbly.
  6. Fill each muffin cup two-thirds full with batter and sprinkle generously with crumble topping.
