  • 2 tablespoons salted sweet cream butter (softened)
  • 6 tablespoons salted sweet cream butter (melted and cooled)
  • 16 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 16 ounces whipped topping (thawed)
  • 2 cups cold whole milk
  • 6.8 ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1½ teaspoons caramel flavoring
  • 1 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts (divided)
  • 2½ cups chopped turtle candies (divided)
  • Chocolate syrup (optional garnish)
  • Caramel sundae syrup (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a 9×9-inch baking dish by buttering it with softened butter.
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed cookies and melted butter; press into the bottom of the dish. Chill.
  3. Beat cream cheese and vanilla until smooth; add powdered sugar and one cup of whipped topping.
  4. Spread the cream cheese layer over the chilled cookie crust.
  5. Mix cold milk with pudding mix and caramel flavoring; blend until thickened.
  6. Fold in one cup of whipped topping into the pudding mixture.
  7. Layer half a cup of peanuts and one cup of turtle candies over the cream cheese layer before drizzling chocolate and caramel syrups on top.
  8. Spread the pudding layer over everything, cover, and chill for at least two hours.
  9. Before serving, add remaining whipped topping, peanuts, turtle candies, and drizzle with syrups.
